XIX International Congress Education and Technology-EDUTEC 2016

On November 11th, within the fold of the XIX International Congress Education and Technology-EDUTEC 2016 (http://edutec.ddgde.ua.es/), a member of ALdia project Prof. Dr. Asunción Lledó-Carreres of University of Alicante, participated in the Panel of Experts entitled “Accessible technology, accessible learning”. During the event, Prof. Dr. Lledó-Carreres stressed the importance of addressing the accessible learning in the university context. Thus, she presented the lines of work in ALdia project which final aim is to meet the needs of students with disabilities at higher levels of education.

Numerous attendees were present in this Panel, both in personal and in a virtual way. The Congress has gathered more than 1,100 registered in two modalities belonging to 23 countries (mainly Ibero-American countries (14): Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Mexico, Panama, Peru, the Dominican Republic, Uruguay and Venezuela, as well as Canada, Australia, United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Portugal, Italy and Spain), with more than 60 universities represented in the Scientific Committee.
