National Round Table in Greece

National Round Table in Greece

The National Round Table was organized in Greece on 30th of May 2018. The objective of this round table was the dissemination of the ALdia project through the presentation of the results so far. Participants had the chance to comprehend and discuss the most important aspects of ALdia project in this 4-hour event.

It was pointed out the absence of seminars and courses regarding disabled people resulting in low-quality teaching when there are disabled students inside the classroom. In terms of the results, the numbers were outstanding according to attendants’ opinion. The registered participants in the platform exceed the normal numbers of similar seminars and that proves the necessity of education in disability and accessibility. The most interesting part of this event was the discussion regarding the impact that ALdia project can have in the foreseeable future. Participants were optimistic that, after promoting the project in organizations, there will be a lot of interest especially by the side of educators.

All the attendants had academical and professional background relevant with ALdia Project as they were educators, consultants, care workers and psychologists. That means that they all were ideal participants in order to promote the programme and have results in policy-making.
